The Future is Now…Where are you?

Hi, you can call me Cal here…actually I’ve been learning for some time now about everything related to online marketing, business, trends, technology futurism, and it’s been a great journey to learn and understand every perspective of different experts that really really good in their field especially at building business and online marketing.

They are all really a bunch of marketing and business geniuses that had gone through pathways on creating new advanced online business models that really will impact the future on how people will buy, shop, and in the other end, build a multi-million online business  empire from their mere PC/laptop. Some of them even sucessfully “create money out of thin air!”

This journey was started when I started thinking about how young generation especially Gen-Ns should respond to this emerging world,  to this global crisis, to this always-changing reality. And I realized that it’s not enough anymore to rely on one’s ability to just try to keep up with trends. With this borderless Networld, it’s possible for everybody now to have every infomation in the world. And it really comes down to “How to use those informations”.

The Future is Now

It’s been said that: “The future is now”. And most people just don’t really understand what does it means, and that’s because they don’t really know what or how the future is. Now, I’m not saying that I know how the future would be like, it just I think that if we don’t really “care” about what the future would be or just naively expect the world to just stay as it is away from changes, then it’s our doom. So, my conclusion was we need to at least understand where the world would very likely to become, and to get a grasp of it, we need to know about new trends, technlogies, and even ever-changing human/market behavior. If we lost our contact with the world, even just in a blink of eye, when we wake up tomorrow we’ll no longer recognize our world. And this is happening even faster and faster…

It’s now possible for every single person to get every information in the world, publishing everything that comes to their mind to the world, play games and have fun at the same time, get connected and do businesses with everybody else around the world with no geographic, demographic, and economic borders.  It’s everybody connected to everybody else, p2p, especially in this web 2.0 world.

And it’s just the beginning of this whole new interesting never-ending journey.

Ever wonder how a small personal online business operated from home could get much more profit multiple times in a year than an established offline business that had been built for years? Ever wonder how a mom can pay the house bill and even gain greater income in a year from her online “part-time” business while taking care of kids than her husband got from high paying 9-5 job? Ever wonder how a teenager can make his first million through facebook? And many more…

Yes! this is time when once again Internet actually change how people see, think, play, work, everything at rapid accelerated speed as never before, and even much faster than when industry revolution age emerge in the past..

What we’re seeing right now is really just a tip of the iceberg of what internet can do to affect global economy and create a whole new unlimited possibilities in the upcoming future. And since the future IS now, it’s now our job to CREATE the new trends and therefore, create our own FUTURE.

Are you one of us?

My concern right now though: how we, as the new generation that has been mentioned in the books written by futurists in the past, can try to recognize our world, our economy, our relationships, and then re-thinking about how we can contribute to the world in a way that never be done before.

So that’s all this blog is all about. It’s really about brainstorming with the world on how to improve things, how to understand a new wave of economy and create advanced solutions in marketing, online personal business, how to become a generalist in this specialist world, and in the end , how to create our own reality and future, how to contribute to the world.

It’s always interesting in finding redline between the future, Netconomics, and online social behavior.
